TL;DR
Martin: No Filter Fighters is an unofficial, fan-made 2D fighting game inspired by the 90s sitcom Martin, starring Martin Lawrence, made by Trey2k23 and published free on itch.io in October 2026. You pick a fighter and a sidekick, fight across nine stages and can knock your opponent through walls, ceilings and floors into the next stage. It runs in the browser below on a computer, phone or tablet.
What is Martin: No Filter Fighters?
It is a free, fan-made fighting game built as a tribute to the sitcom Martin. The developer, Trey2k23, released it on itch.io in early October 2026 and keeps adding fighters and stages; the latest additions are Bob from Marketing and his stage, The Corporate Party. The game is not affiliated with or endorsed by the show's creators, cast or networks, and the developer says so on the game's page.
Fighters and stages
There are 11 fighters: Martin, Gina, Pam, Cole, Tommy, Sheneneh, Varnell Hill, Dragonfly Jones, Jerome, Bruh-Man and Bob from Marketing.
There are 9 stages, each with its own theme music: The Varnell Hill Show, Martin's Apartment, Club GTD, Sheneneh's Salon, Nipsey's, Dragonfly's Dojo, The Playa's Ball, The Fifth Flo' and The Corporate Party.
How a match works
- Fighter + sidekick. You build a team of a fighter and a sidekick. Each character can appear only once per match.
- Supers. Every fighter has signature supers, such as Big Shirley, Party Over Here, Job Roulette, Jerome's freeze combos and Varnell's Catfish Cannon.
- Stage breaks. Smash your opponent through the wall, the ceiling or the floor and the fight continues in a different stage. An uppercut can send them up to the floor above; a slam sends them down.
- Trash talk. Rivals exchange lines taken from the show before a fight.
Game modes
Story Mode, Arcade, Versus, Training, CPU Showcase and Online Versus. Online Versus lets you play a friend with a room code. There is also a Reveal Theater where you can watch each new fighter's reveal.

Where to play
Two places: right here, in the player at the top of this page, and on the developer's itch.io page. Both run the same browser build from itch.io.
Android and iPhone
There is no app to install. On Android phones, iPhones and tablets you play the browser version: open this page, press Play and turn the phone sideways; touch controls appear on their own. We do not offer APK files, and the developer does not list one.
PS5, Xbox and Switch
There is no console version. The developer lists the game for web browsers and for Windows, Linux and Steam Deck only. Controllers do work in the browser version on a computer.
Download for PC
The developer also offers downloads for Windows, Linux and Steam Deck on the official itch.io page. We do not host the files. On Windows, the developer notes that a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen may appear; if you see a black screen, the download includes a compatibility-mode launcher.
