TL;DR

Cat Flip is our own small physics game. A ragdoll cat stands on a rooftop; you crouch, jump, hold a pose to spin and let go to land. Every successful jump raises the building a little. It works with one finger on a phone or with the keyboard on a computer.

How to play

  1. Crouch. Press and hold anywhere (or hold Space).
  2. Jump. Let go to jump off the roof.
  3. Flip. In the air, hold the left or right side of the screen (or Z / X) to pull into a pose. Each side is a different pose, such as Tuck or Pike, and holding it spins the cat.
  4. Land. Let go before the ground so the cat can open up and land on its feet.

Press R to restart a jump on a keyboard.

Scoring

A clean landing scores points; each full flip adds more, and holding poses in the air adds a little extra. Landing almost perfectly upright doubles the score for that jump. Your best score is saved in your browser.

Why it works on phones

Cat Flip was built for touch first: the whole game is two touch zones, left and right. That is why it sits next to games that need a keyboard.
